Signet Armorlite and MacuHealth® – A Partnership for Improved Patient Eye Health

Signet Armorlite is pleased to announce a co-marketing agreement with MacuHealth® LP to promote Kodak Total Blue™ Lens and MacuHealth with LMZ3. With the increased exposure to potentially damaging High Energy Visible (HEV) Blue Light, Signet Armorlite and MacuHealth recognize the need to provide a comprehensive solution.
Kodak Total Blue Lens is a unique hybrid of lens material and coating that filters High Energy Visible (HEV) Blue Light and protects against UV rays. It starts with a special lens material that absorbs 100% of UV rays. A special multi-layer blue light filtering coating is applied to the front surface of the lens and together they block transmission of up to 80% of HEV Blue Light. Additional layers on the front and back provide scratch resistance, anti-reflective benefits and a top superhydrophobic layer for easy-to-clean lenses.
MacuHealth with LMZ3 is a unique nutritional supplement that quickly and effectively enriches macular pigment in both healthy and diseased eyes. The role of macular pigment is to provide anti-oxidative protection to the RPE and photoreceptor cells over our lifetime and naturally filter blue light at the fovea and macula, reducing glare and improving contrast. MacuHealth with LMZ3 formula contains 10 mg of Lutein, 2 mg of Zeaxanthin and 10 mg of the most potent antioxidant in the macula, Meso-Zeaxanthin.
